Grey, wet and windy that’s November for me. Fortunately most of the rain and wind stayed away this year, but nevertheless it was dark and the days got shorter and shorter. Big hurrah for the Christmas lights that started to come up at the end of the month. November is also the month of goose here in Sweden and traditionally we celebrated with a goose dinner on November 8. Definitely the only time of the year when I drink Madeira to soup (and probably the only time of the year when I drink Madeira…)
An excellent red Bourgogne from Albert Bichot went very well with the goose and I have to admit that red Bourgognes are more and more becoming a favourite of both TheMan and I. A sign of old age or a sign of developed palate? The latter I hope…
