2004 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 was no exception. Deep cherry-red colour. Intense, aromas of vanilla, coconut, chocolate and truffle with hints of candied fruit. Fine and silky tannins with a long finish. Truly wonderful just like we thought. And yes we need to start drinking more Rioja.
