Balkan style ćevapčići

I made ćevapčići for dinner tonight. Very good, but I have to admit that I cheated a bit with buying a ćevapčići spice mix. Add minced beef, mix and you’re ready to go.

To get more veges in I did a quick stir-fry of mushrooms, onion and peppers. I hardly cooked them at all. Just got them a bit warm, so they were very crisp and fresh. I also made a green salad of rocket and iceberg salad, cherry tomatoes and cucumber. Being in the mood for a tasty dressing I just added garlic to some sour cream. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and you have very nice dressing.


Being total famished I also heated a pita bread in the microwave. Which meant I was able to soak up the rest of the dressing and juice from the meat. Mmm! Life (and food) is good!
