Dinner today was grilled scallops, grilled fresh green asparagus and plain risotto. To drink I had a very nice chardonnay - Fleur du Cap from South Africa. After the first bite I actually thought I hade died and gone to heaven. It was simply a match made in heaven.
The last time I had grilled scallops and risotto was actually in Paris last autumn. I’ve been thinking about scallops a lot lately and when I passed a fishmonger today I couldn’t resist. I’ve decide the rest of the week is going to be a week lived in luxury, or at least in the best way possible.
I’m going to be more or less dead the next coming weeks. Getting to know a new company and most if all getting to know my own staff. I’m still very happy and excited, but also nervous. My God, what kind of challenge have I take on?! But according to all my friends I’ll be just fine. Let’s hope they are right…
