Seagulls

The sound of seagulls woke me up both today and yesterday. Seagulls are very noisy, that’s for sure. But somehow their noise is also comforting and actually a bit peaceful. They remind me of endless summer days as a child playing on the beach or being out sailing in my dinghy. As a grown up now living right in the middle of the city they show me that I do live in a harbour city and that the ever-changing ocean isn’t far away.
