Strawberries

Today has been yet another day of cold weather and pouring rain. But passing my local fruit and veges stand around the corner really cheered me up. Strawberries! I buy strawberries almost all year around. The ones during the winter might not taste much, but they add some extra luxury to the gloomy winter days. Also yummy desserts with strawberries can never be bad for you… So there they were today. The first strawberries of the year, just waiting to be eaten. Bright red, juicy and very sweet. Mmm! Summer’s here! Could someone just tell the weather gods as well?!
