Off to London

I’m off to the airport and London pretty soon. Yeah! It’s been 8 (very long) months since my last visit. I’m going to meet with old and new friends, including Philip, which is very exciting, but also a bit nerve racking. I’m also going to visit my favourite shops for a bit of shopping spree and I’m going to hunt for a new handbag. I’ve been dreaming about a Mulberry bag for years now. They do cost more or less fortune, but I know if I find the right bag I’m going to use for many, many years. As always I will also do some sight seeing. Having seen and done most everything one should do in London, I’m now trying to do things that are a bit unusual. This time I’m thinking about taking a special tour of Westminster Abby. Another tour I’m thinking about is the famous Jack the Ripper tour in Whitechapel. Holly and I were going to do that tour last autumn, but having walked for 7 hours straight already we both agreed on that another single step would kill us. Instead we ended up drinking wine and talking half the night. How much walking I can take this time remains to be seen, but I’m bringing three pairs of shoes, which two pairs are very comfortable.
