Heartbreaking tragedy

I think most Swedes went to bad last night with a broken heart. A truck driver suspected of kidnapping a 10-year-old girl had just confessed to killing the girl and hiding her body. During the questioning he also admitted another murder back in 2000. Totally unbelievable!

For more than a week the whole country had been on the outlook for Engla and wondered what could have happened to her after talking to her mum on the phone with only five more minutes to bike before being home. A short ride that was interrupted by a 42-year-old man which criminal records included three three cases of violent, unwanted sexual advances toward young women.
In 1995, he was sentenced to prison for attempted rape. When he tried to drag the woman into his car he said that it was because he "never got any girls".

The same year he attacked and abused a highly intoxicated 16-year-old girl by putting his hands around her throat and covering her mouth.

Three years later, in 1998, he tried to force another 16-year-old girl to have sex with him, later being convicted for sexual coercion. The man has also been convicted for having exposed himself and for a number of other minor offences.
It makes you speechless doesn't it? And heartbroken that a little girl just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
