I left the office around 3 this afternoon and I'm not coming back until January 7. A wonderful feeling and when leaving it was still daylight outside. That hasn't been the case in months. Another thing just to be happy over.
After stopping by the madhouse called grocery store I finally made it home. I picked out the largest cookie from yesterday's baking, sat down on the sofa and watched the sun set. And then I fell asleep and slept for and hour and half. Sitting here now I feel happy, relaxed and filled quite a bit with Christmas spirit. I guess what was missing was the feeling of knowing that there is no work for two and half weeks and a nap on the sofa.
