No criminals are smart, if they were they should not be criminals... A bit condemning maybe, but reading about "Britain's worst forger" it makes you wonder if it isn't true...
Chris Woodruff used his computer printer to create his own insurance certificate when he was stopped by police but made a basic error with the date.
The certificate he presented to police looked perfect but for one vital detail - its expiry date was listed as the non-existent "31/02/08 at 23.59hrs".
Woodruff had previous been charged three times for driving without an insurance and was also dreaming about joining the police force after leaving the army. Hm, not sure what to say... Maybe - Good for you for trying at least?!
