Third annual 5K race

I ran my third annual 5K race yesterday. This year in 34:30 minutes. Not too bad. Especially since I've only been out running once this spring. The rest of the time I've been hitting the treadmill.

18000 women participated in yesterday's race. I have to admit that it was a bit crowded, as always, but somehow that's also the charm of the race. OK, I hate when I have to zigzag through the crowd just to keep up my pace. I had decided that I would keep moving all the time no matter how crowded it got. Sometimes it would probably been faster if I had walked, but I did it.

I'm surprised that I'm not sore or stiff today. I should be, at least a little bit. Just so I could feel that I did something good last night. Maybe I can't get out of bed tomorrow... Because, really, I can't be that fit so I don't get sore, can I?!
