As always May went by quickly, like a race towards June and "real" summer. One of the nightlights was definitely Cousin’s wedding to his beautiful English bride. A weekend spent out on Lurön in Lake Vänern with both new and old family and as well as friends. The day started out with cloudy and grey skies, but aswe set foot on the island the sun came through and for the rest of weekend there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Sweden certainly showed its best side to all English guests.
During the month we continued with testing new rosé wines, but again Sancerre Les Baronnes Rosé won in our opinion. 2004 Brunello di Montalcino Col d'Orcia got us oh-ing and ah-ing one night with perfect structure, soft tannins and a wonderful aftertaste. As a wine aficionado (and geek) it’s moments like that you live for.
