There are some wines that just make you happy. The first smell and sip makes you smile and then pure bliss. 2012 E. Guigal Crozes-Hermitage did exactly that to both me and TheMan a very autumn like November night. Dark red colour. Red fruits, cherries, strawberries and oak on the nose. Rather structured tannins with hints of vanilla and blackcurrant. One sip and we were back in a sunny and hot France driving along the river Rhône.
